The agent replies in the language it is written to
The customer writes in Romanian, Russian or English, and the agent replies in the same language without asking.
The language is worked out from the customer’s own words, not from their phone settings. The detector recognises Romanian typed without diacritics and with the spelling used in the Republic of Moldova, tells Ukrainian apart from Russian, and recognises other languages by their alphabet and by characteristic words. The language is remembered for the conversation, and a single foreign word doesn’t change it; if the customer clearly switches to another language, the agent switches too.
Before vs After aichat.md
A customer writes in Russian and gets an answer in Romanian. Or they type “cat costa” without diacritics and get an answer in English.
The reply comes in the customer’s language from the first message, and the conversation doesn’t jump between languages because of one word.
How it works in 3 steps
The customer writes
“Здравствуйте, сколько стоит доставка?”
The language is detected
From the words and the alphabet of the message. The language is remembered for the conversation.
A reply in the same language
The agent replies in Russian and keeps going that way until the customer clearly switches language.
Example messages
- “Buna ziua, cat costa?” (no diacritics) → a reply in Romanian
- A message in Ukrainian → a reply in Ukrainian, not Russian
- The customer switches to English mid-conversation → the agent switches too
