An agent that sounds like your business: instructions, a knowledge base and improvements you approve
You decide how the agent talks and what it knows. Improvement suggestions come from real conversations and apply only when you approve them.
You write the agent’s role, tone and rules in its instructions: how it addresses people, what it must not promise, when it hands a conversation to a person. What it knows comes from the knowledge base: text, TXT, CSV, DOCX or PDF files, question-and-answer pairs and pages from your website. Once the agent has been working for a while, you can run an analysis of the conversations from a given period and get concrete suggestions for changes. You apply only what you want; each change creates a new version of the instructions, and you can go back to an earlier one if needed.
Before vs After aichat.md
A generic assistant answers the same way for every business, in a tone that isn’t yours, and doesn’t know your prices or rules.
The agent uses your tone and rules and answers from your documents. When you spot a mistake, you fix it in the instructions, and the old version stays saved.
How it works in 3 steps
Write the instructions
The agent’s role, its tone, what it may promise and when it brings in a person.
Upload what it should know
Documents, price lists, FAQs or pages from your website, in the knowledge base.
Improve from conversations
An analysis of real conversations suggests changes; you apply the good ones and can return to an earlier version at any time.
Example messages
- “Keep it short and informal, no emoji.” → a rule written once in the instructions
- Your price list changed → you upload the new file to the knowledge base
- A suggestion from the conversation analysis → you apply it or ignore it; the previous version stays in the history
Frequently asked questions
Does the agent change itself based on conversations?+
No. The analysis only makes suggestions. The instructions change only when you apply a suggestion, and proposed additions to the knowledge base come in as drafts that you publish yourself.
Which formats does the knowledge base accept?+
Text typed in directly, TXT, MD, CSV, JSON, DOCX and PDF files, question-and-answer pairs and the address of a page on your website.
